As Mayor of the City of Riverside it is my job to interpret the policies, programs, and needs of the City Government to the people as well as inform the people of any major change in policy or program. I also advise the City Council on all matters of policy and public relations.

Rowland Heights
Rowland Heights was originally part of the Workman Temple homestead in California's rancho days. Rowland Heights is an unincorporated community (not a city) dependent upon County of Los Angeles representation (County Board of Supervisors). Rowland Heights has grown significantly during the 1990s. Originally built on a pig farm that covered the whole area of Rowland Heights, the Rowland Homestead was mostly orange farms until the 60 freeway was built.
